Visitor follow-up software for churches.
Notus Research builds Visita, which helps churches welcome first-time visitors: a page where a visitor plans their visit, reminders by WhatsApp, text message or email, and a simple way to confirm they attended.
What Visita does
Visit-planning pages
Each church gets a page where a visitor chooses a service time and how they want to be contacted. Spanish at visita.church, English at planyourvisit.church.
Visit reminders
The visitor receives the address, a map link and a reminder before the service, from the church they chose, on the channel they chose. No more than 4 messages a month.
Attendance confirmation
After the service the visitor can confirm with one reply or one click, so the church knows who actually came and can welcome them back.
Visita is sold to churches as a monthly subscription. Churches are our customers; we send messages on their behalf, identified with the church's name, only to people who asked for them. See an example visit page.
How text messaging works
Text messages are sent only to people who explicitly opt in on a church's Visita page.
- Consent: the visitor chooses "Text" as their contact channel, enters their mobile number, and ticks an unchecked box: "I agree to receive text messages from [Church] via Visita (up to 4 per month; msg & data rates may apply). Reply STOP to cancel." Without the box ticked, the form does not submit.
- What we send: visit reminders with directions, and one message after the service asking whether they were able to attend.
- Frequency: up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out anytime: reply STOP (or ALTO). Reply HELP (or AYUDA) for help.
- Privacy: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the text-messaging privacy policy.
